Manchester United are interested in signing Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna in the summer transfer window, according to . The report has claimed that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are not in talks with Italian side Bologna over a deal for Zirkzee, but are speaking to the 23-year-old’s representatives.
The report has noted that United’s interest in Zirkzee is advanced. The Red Devils are now considering making a bid for the 23-year-old Dutchman. Zirkzee’s contract includes a €40million (£34m) release clause, which means that if the Red Devils trigger it, then it could become easy for him to get a deal done.
Zirkzee made 32 starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A for Bologna last season. The 23-year-old scored 11 goals and gave four assists in those games. Bologna finished fifth in the Serie A table last season and will play in the UEFA Champions League in 2024-25.
