Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane is apparently very keen on bringing Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes to the Spanish capital. According to AS, Zidane s main objective for the next transfer window remains Paul Pogba of Manchester United, but if that move proves too expensive, he will go in for the 17-year-old midfielder instead.
Given his young age, Camavinga cannot exactly be considered an alternative to the 2018 World Cup winner Pogba, but it seems Zidane has been monitoring his progress closely and will continue to do so whatever happens when the window opens. Barcelona have announced goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto has signed a one-year extension with the club.
The 36-year-old had only six months left on his previous deal with the La Liga outfit, but Barca have revealed via their website that he has agreed to prolong his stay at until June 2013.
Pinto arrived at Camp Nou in January 2008 on loan from Celta following a knee injury to Albert Jorquera and joined the club on a permanent basis four months later.
He has provided cover for Victor Valdes but has tasted action in Barca s Copa del Rey matches, having featured in both legs of the club s 10-0 aggregate victory against Hospitalet.

Los Angeles FC s MLS Cup hero Gareth Bale admitted it has been mentally difficult to maintain focus ahead of the World Cup.
The tournament starts in Qatar on November 20, with Bale set to lead Wales out in only their second appearance at the tournament.
